Rugby Speed & Power Testing
Rugby demands explosive acceleration, repeated sprint ability, and powerful change of direction. EPP measures all three — position by position — with the same equipment used by professional academies.
Suitable for: Rugby union and league players of all positions, youth rugby players (U8–U18), semi-professional clubs

Every EPP rugby assessment covers these five tests using Photon Sports timing gates, high-speed cameras, and force-platform analysis. Results delivered as a full written report within 48 hours.
Rugby is unusual in that players of different positions have legitimately different optimal training profiles. A loosehead prop assessed on the FV spectrum will sit toward force-dominance; a winger toward velocity. Prescribing the same gym programme to both is a wasted training block. Position-specific FV profiling tells coaches exactly what each player needs.
Sessions for rugby athletes are held at: Alexander Stadium (Birmingham), Wyndley Leisure Centre, Platt Lane Sports Complex (Manchester). Your coach will confirm the venue based on your location and the specific session type when you book.
